Boston Gazette And Country Journal March 12 1770 Summary

On March 12th, a week after the Boston Massacre, the Boston Gazette and Country Journal. published an account of the shootings and the events that preceded them: “On the evening of Monday, being the fifth, several soldiers of the 29th Regiment were seen parading the streets with their drawn cutlasses and bayonets, abusing and wounding numbers of the inhabitants. Funding from the Massachusetts Society of the Cincinnati and the Richard Saltonstall Charitable Foundation provided support for this project. Funding from the Library Services and Technology Act administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners enabled the Boston Public Library to create the images of the newspapers as part of a digitization program for Digital Commonwealth members.

This does not seem like this is the original to me. I’ve been looking at Revere’s engraving quite a bit and this seems like a re-cut, re-layout or reproduction of some sort?
